This garment is constructed using Oeko-tex certified silk & embroidery.

Treat your silk with care to preserve its natural sheen, softness, and luxurious drape.

Washing

• Hand wash only for best results.
• Use cold or lukewarm water (maximum 30°C / 86°F).
• Add a small amount of silk-safe / gentle pH-neutral detergent. (Avoid regular detergent — it can weaken silk fibres.)
• Gently agitate in water; do not scrub, rub, or wring.
• Soak briefly if needed, but avoid long soaking as silk is delicate when wet.

Rinsing

• Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove all detergent.
• To help restore silk softness and shine, you may add a drop of white vinegar to the final rinse.
• Press water out gently — never twist or wring silk.

Drying

• Lay flat on a clean towel and roll gently to absorb water, then reshape.
• Lay flat to dry on a towel or drying rack, or hang to air-dry in a way that supports the fabric.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat, which can fade color and damage fibres.
• Do not tumble dry.

Ironing

• If needed, iron on the lowest / silk setting while the fabric is slightly damp.
• Always use a press cloth between the iron and silk.
• Alternatively, use a steamer to remove wrinkles — avoiding direct steam contact for too long.

Storage

• Store folded in a cool, dry place.
• Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
• If hanging, use a padded hanger to avoid shoulder marks.

Avoid

• Bleach or fabric softeners
• Hot water
• Direct wringing or rubbing
• Long exposure to sunlight
