Cut to skim the leg with a relaxed, flattering fit, the shorts are crafted from 100% silk. Delicately hand-sewn French lace appliqué is individually cut from a single large piece of lace to preserve the integrity of the pattern, then precisely positioned and hand-applied to each garment. This meticulous process creates seamless integration and a level of detail that cannot be achieved through standard production.
Crafted in our London atelier, the Jayne Short reflects true artisanal construction. All seams are completed using traditional French seams, fully enclosing raw edges for a refined interior finish and long-term durability. An adjustable waistband allows for a personalised fit while maintaining the garment’s fluid line and comfort.

Care Instructions
Hand Washing Recommended
- To preserve the delicate construction and fine materials, we recommend gentle hand washing only.
- Use cold water and a mild detergent formulated for delicate fabrics.
- Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals to maintain the integrity and softness of the fibers.
Drying
- After washing, gently press out excess water — do not wring or twist.
- Lay flat to dry on a clean towel, reshaping the cups if needed.
- Do not tumble dry as heat can distort structure and fabric.
Pressing & Finishing
- If needed, use a cool iron on the reverse side.
- Avoid ironing directly over lace, silk, or hardware.
- Light steaming may be used from a safe distance to prevent water spotting.
Storage & Handling
- Store flat or upright in a lingerie drawer to preserve cup shape.
- Do not fold molded or structured cups.
- Keep away from sharp objects or rough surfaces to avoid snagging.
Do Not Dry Clean
