This week we’re talking to Heartleigh Little – stylist, vintage curator, and co-founder whose world revolves around her eye for detail and love of the hunt. She’s the force behind Heart & Lou’s, the Lower East Side vintage shop with a cult following, and co-founder of Thalo Denim, a label rethinking how jeans should fit by designing across 30+ body types. Whether she’s sourcing for a client, running between the shop and early morning calls with Europe, or simply drawing inspiration from the streets of New York, Heartleigh’s vision proves that great style always comes with a story.

Where are you living right now?
Lower East Side, NYC
What are you working on right now that you're excited about? Or what have you done recently that you're proud of?
We've recently expanded our brand into a new space in the neighborhood. A 2nd shop was a massive undertaking for me just two years into the business, while still learning and growing everyday. We pulled off the opening in a short amount of time and I'm immensely proud of where the brand is going.
Do you have any daily rituals that you can't live without?
I find it really challenging to keep a routine with my lifestyle. I'm traveling often, and when I am home, I'm running between the store, my styling clients, and early morning calls with Europe. My morning coffee is a non-negotiable.
How do you find support or inspiration in your community?
In New York inspiration is everywhere. I find it on the streets, in the colors, the ways people dress and present themselves. Looking up and not at a screen is where it all lives.
