Sustainability
At Scarlett Gasque, sustainability is not an afterthought – it is woven into the very fabric of who we are. We design clothing that’s intended to transcend seasons; pieces conceived as modern heirlooms rather than fulfilling passing trends. In this way, our devotion to enduring beauty mirrors our commitment to the planet.
By centering our production in New York City, where over ninety percent of our collections are made, we reduce unnecessary shipping and minimize our carbon footprint. Many of our materials are sourced close to our ateliers – from lace woven in France to silks specially selected in Italy and the UK – for their superior textile quality, for their provenance and for their lasting integrity. This proximity allows us to work hand-in-hand with our makers, ensuring both excellence and accountability at every step.
Most recently, in a gesture that brought our journey full circle, we donated surplus fabrics to the fashion students of Central Saint Martins – the very place where our founder, Chloé Rogers, first began her design story.
We are also in the process of deepening our commitment through fuller traceability, guided by sustainability experts who help us align with global standards and move steadily toward a net zero future. As a young brand, we see this as an opportunity to set a new precedent: to create with intention, and to honour both our customers and the environment with the same reverence.
For Scarlett Gasque, true luxury is inseparable from responsibility. Every decision we make is designed to preserve not only the glamour of today, but the world we leave for tomorrow.
