With Scarlett Gasque headquartered in New York, I often find myself traveling between different cities. Miami remains one of my favorite places to escape to — sunny, relaxed, and a welcome contrast to the pace of everyday life. With spring on the horizon, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ways to spend a day here.
Morning
My favorite thing to wake up in is our ivory Jayne Set — soft silk always feels right for slow Miami mornings. I love starting my day with a walk along the beach, a heated mat pilates class, and my wellness routine: red light mask, sauna, ice bath, and vibration plate.
Crema Gourmet: A coffee shop I discovered a couple of weeks ago and keep coming back to. I usually order an iced matcha and stay for a while to enjoy the calm energy.
Miami Juice: A morning staple for me – I always get something with fruit in it.
When I’m spending a quieter morning at home, I love wearing the Jayne Slip with the Darling Robe in ivory.
Afternoon
Design District: My favorite neighborhood to shop in Miami, with the best boutiques all in walking distance of each other.
Palm Beach Vintage: Technically not in Miami, but always worth the trip. My favorite vintage store.
Coconut Grove Farmer's Market: Only open on Saturdays, but one of the best ways to spend a Miami afternoon. Beautiful, unhurried, and completely worth building your day around.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro: My go-to for a late lunch — the menu is fresh and light.
Evening
Faena Theater: The best spot for a light dinner and a show. Evenings here feel like the ideal occasion to wear pieces like the Curtain Call or Evelyn Set.
BeyBey: My favorite bar in Miami, and the best way to end the night! I love wearing the Eternal Bloom Slip and sipping a French 75 with my friends.
Some of my favorite hidden gems are the Esmé Hotel and La Folie Restaurant — they're the first places I bring visitors. My perfect day in Miami always includes time outside; the sunlight and warmth make everything feel better.
Miami has become a place I always look forward to returning to — inspiration, sunshine, and a chance to slow down for a moment. These are just a few of the places I find myself coming back to again and again.
