We’re kicking things off with a muse who has a rare kind of elegance – the sort that lingers in a room long after she’s gone. Rebecca Dennett is a New York-based fashion stylist and consultant with a modern eye and a sharp sense of style. She's the creator of the Sixth Sense Substack, a subscription-based newsletter that considers everything from editing your wardrobe to dressing with intention. We chose Rebecca as our first muse because she represents that perfect blend of polish and play.

Where are you living right now?
I’m living in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn
How do you start your mornings? Any rituals you can’t live without?
My boyfriend and I usually head to Prima when they open for scones and ice coffee as I cannot function without cold brew in the summer!
What’s a small luxury that always makes your day better?
In the winter, I take a bubble bath most days to warm and keep cozy. I have been known to drink a gin and tonic in the bath… In the summer, I love strolling around and exploring connecting neighborhoods in the late afternoon if I’m not working.
When do you feel the most yourself?
I feel the most myself spending time with my British friends who I have grown up with in the city and also being in nature, at the beach with my boyfriend.

If you could step into any fashion era for a day, which would it be?
The 70s!
What’s the most treasured piece in your wardrobe?
My black classic Chanel handbag that my late grandparents gave me for my 21st birthday. Both of my Celine lady jackets.
